Description For this project, Egyptian Concrete manufactured approximately 26,000 SF of replacement lock wall panels. Barge traffic on the upper Mississippi was shut down while the existing lock was refurbished with new wall panels. Each panel had 6 horizontal rub rail armors cast into the panels.

Platform walkway panels were designed to be extremely durable to freeze-thaw cycles and heavy use of de-icing agents.
Description This was the second commuter station ECC built for NICTD. It was made up of over 425 individual precast and prestressed elements. There were 2 platform structures built for the 2 commuter rails, each of which were 720 feet long with a handicap accessible ramp at both ends. The project also included precast concrete warming houses and a storage shed.
